Engineering Design
Our team provides you with complete tool design services, from beginning concepts to the finished detail tool drawings. Reuther Mold & Manufacturing’s engineers and designers are trained to work with a wide range of input from our customers.
We design and build world-class tools using detailed part specifications, 3D product models, tool sketches, or your own finished tool drawings.
Our designers use SolidWorks and CATIA V5 to transfer optimum data to our CNC machines. This design work can all be done using your existing CAD product files.

We work with a model-based design that reduces the dimensions of 2D drawings to support both our shop floor and inspection department. Additionally, Reuther Mold & Manufacturing maintains a unique File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site for every single customer in order to provide a secure method for data transfer.
Manufacturing
Reuther Mold & Manufacturing manufactures aircraft tooling using various grades of aluminum, steel, Invar and Titanium from solid blocks or castings. Our in-house welding department is housed in Reuther Mold & Manufacturing’s 60,000 sq. ft., temperature-controlled shop – an impressive facility where we employ the latest manufacturing technology. Our high-quality manufacturing services are driven by our core motivation to engineer solutions for your tooling needs.
Custom Aircraft Tool Manufacturing
Our Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production and Quality departments are connected through our secure internal intranet. This enables us to share quoting information, 2D prints, 3D models, customer specifications, purchasing status, scheduling information, job routing and inspection data easily between our experts who work hard to bring your custom projects to life.
In addition to our large, temperature-controlled facility, Reuther Mold & Manufacturing also maintains a relationship with a local company that builds tooling made with composite materials and 3D printing technology. Reuther Mold & Manufacturing has and continues to build relationships with other trusted manufacturers because we are committed to going to any length to provide our customers with any custom aircraft tool that they may need.
